tCast #63 comes after a week break, I get too busy sometimes. Since the world is celebrating Christmas and the new year there were not too many news. Besides, we are all waiting for the keynote by jobs in 2 weeks.

In this show Ron Kaldes joins me, Boaz Ordan to an hour of talking alot and not saying too much.

tCast 62 with Adi RAvid, Tal Rom, Ron Kaldes and Boaz Ordan.

Very very little news this week. Maybe the tech world is silent and waiting for Macworld?

tCast 60 - an international event. Me, Boaz Ordan recording from Prague in the Czech Republic with Adi Ravid in Israel and all that through Skype.

we have a shorter then usual show because of the distance and because there was not much to say this week, not much happened.

The winner of the Apple shirt is number 60 in the tCast mailing list, an email will be sent to the lucky winner. linktree is back with another great iPod minute, catch more of him at hebrew-ipod.blogspot.com

tCast 59, a solo tCast. I am on my own and there for a shorter then usual show. The last week was a very big week for Microsoft, I talk about it. There were also some updates from Apple, I talk about this as well plus the regular tech news.

This weeks winner of the Apple shirt is number 62 on the mailing list, a note was sent to the winner.

Next week I am on a trip to the US and Canada so I will surly have some views fro the 5th Ave. shop to share with you next week in a tCast that I hope to be able to air from far away.

On todays agenda, more on the new Zune, more new iPods, more Google news and some more rumors. Like last week, we have a very interesting iPod minute from Linktree.

tCast #56 is the first with the new co-host, Ron Kaldes. Ron is a veteran Mac evangelist and for the past 4 years have been working at YEDA.

There is one big piece of news this week, the new core 2 duo Macintosh laptops. Besides this we are getting mad at Microsoft because of the fact that XP will have another service pack only at 2008 the earliest and other news from the tech world.

Another new player on the tCast team is Linktree who is the manager at the iPod forum in Tapuz and will give us couple of minutes weekly about the iPod world.

There is an announcement at this tCast, an interesting one, Check it out.

tCast_55 was a troubled one. It was supposed to be with Adi Ravid who managed to somehow disappear on his way. It then continued with a 55 minutes recording with Ron Kaldes who is a known Mac evangelist and among other, works at YEDA. Well, after 55 minutes the Garage Band crashed and 55 minutes were lost. Mac software anyone?

So, at 22:30 last night I found my self tired and nervous and recording a tCast on my own. A mistake? I guess you'll find out soon enough.

In this show: Apple news and financial reports, Microsoft news including Zune and IE7 and lots more of the Usual stuff.

The first Apple t-shirt is number 33 on my mailing list. The email address of the lucky winner will be posted on the tCast web site at http://www.tcast.co.il , don't forget to add yourself to the mailing list through the tCast web site of you have a wish to have one of the Apple shrifts.

MP3 File

Monday, October 16, 2006

tCast #54 through skype again, Adi Ravid and my self, Boaz Ordan are to lazy to go out and meet each other and so it is skype again.

I start the show by getting angry at the Macintosh forum at Tapuz for being too trigger happy when wrongly (in my opinion) deleting messages and we continue with all the went on an the Mac related tech world in the past week.

tCast #53 after 2 weeks of traveling in the U.S and mexico. Although there was no tCast for 2 weeks, there is still not much to tell, nothing really interesting happened besides the fact that Adi ravid was sick and so it was me, Boaz Ordan and tal Rom this week.

Enjoy the show.

Boaz

tCast #52 has no tCast in it. Sorry, an impossible week and a 2 weeks trip to the U.S and Mexico will do this to the best of the Podcasters.... and I am not one of them.

Next show, hopefully, in tow weeks.

tCast #51.5 is actually a supplement to tCast #51. I was strongly unhappy with the inability to have a final answer, is there i]or is there not an international warranty to all Apple hardware, including non portable ones.

The answer is in this short tCast. A recording of a call I made with an Applecare representative in the U.S today.

tCast #51 - the scoop episode.

I don't know if all listeners will share
our excitement but we feel we had a small scoop, me being Adi Ravid and Boaz Ordan. we found out that contrary to the common opinion, Apple does provide international waranty to Macintosh computers that are not mobile such as the Mac Mini.

As one would expect, things are never as simple as that so to get the full picture (as we know it now, thing change quickly here) download and listen to show 51.

MP3 File

Monday, September 11, 2006

tCast #50 is allot less festive tCast then what I wished it to be. First the was the war that gave us no fun to celebrate and there was simply no good idea for the celebrations.

So here is the 50th show with Adi Ravid and me, Boaz Ordan and all the usual suspects. New Apple iMac, an updated Mini and other tech news.

15 of the listeners that are on the mailing list will win an original Apple shirt, the least I can do for those who suffered me talking for 50 shows, and a whole full year.

MP3 File

Tuesday, September 05, 2006

tCast 49.5 is done by my self alone and does not have any thing that special. Because of this, I felt it is not good enough to be named tCast #50, thous the title, tCast 49.5.

After sharing with you my anger on Apple for not helping us retrieve our stolen iPods (and they can), I talk Apple news, other tech news, about the rumors that are mounting towards the media even Apple are staging next week and I finish with couple of your emails.

Next week, tCast #50.

tCast #49 was done through Skype with Adi Ravid & myself, Boaz Ordan. It's a short show with many item news, none of them really interesting.

Among the news, Apple calling 1.8 million batteries back, some mini rumors, the creative law suite and some Microsoft and google news.

tCast #48 is an international one. It was recorded on my MacBook Pro
while I was in a small city called Weimar in Germany and it included,
besides me, Tal Rom who in his home in Tel Aviv and Adi Ravid from his
home in Ramat Gan. After messing with trying to record it through
iChat we finally did a conference call through skype and recorded it
with a software called “Call Recorder v1.0.4” that costs 15$. I hope
it was worth it…

The show had 2 main subjects to start with, the post I added to my
site (http://www.tcast.co.il) about the huge price difference between
buying a MacBook in Israel and importing it from the US and the
possibility of a localized version of Leopard. After that, the usual
assortments of news from all over.

Enjoy,

Boaz Ordan

tCast #47 fifth and hopefully the last tCast of this war.

This week didn't produce too many news, so naturally Adi Ravid, Tal Rom and yours truly Boaz Ordan, continued to discuss and spaculate about last week's key note by Steve Jobs.

Besides that, we go over the new announcements by Microsoft regarding their support of universal applications and general technological news.

Enjoy the show.

tCast 46.5, fifth tCast of this last war.

tCast 46.5 is an out of sequence show. I did 45 on Sunday and on Monday Steve Jobs delivered his WWDC keynote so Adi Ravid, Tal Rom and me, Boaz Ordan, set set each in front his computer at his home and recorded a conference talk through iChat.

The sound quality is what you can expect from an iChat voice conference, the subjects of the show are what you can expect from the tCast a day after an Apple keynote. Enjoy.

tCast #46, the forth tCast in this war.

I am, like all of us here, under the heavy feelings that come with being in a war. The world is going on as usual and so are the tech news and I am here to bring them to you, war or no war.

A day before Mr. Jobs keynote at the WWDC and the air is full with anticipation and rumors, I will gather them for you in the first part of the show. The rest of the show will have other news from apple, some talk about Windows Vista, google and other.

I finished the show with a request. If one of the tCast Listeners lives in the north in one of the areas suffering from this war, I will be honored to be invited to his house and record the next show from the north, my little way to show my personal admiration to the folks up there.

I think it is much more appropriate then celebrating the 50th show in times like these? What do you think?

Boaz Ordan

tCast # 45 and the third tCast at war. The mood is still not of the best but the show go's on and this week I am alone and in Prague, Czech Republic.

The show was recorded during the heat-wave that went across Europe and the office I was in had no air-condition and because I had to shut the windows to keep the traffic noise out, it will be called the sauna show from now on.

In the sauna this week: Intel and AMD and ATI and Nvidia and all that's between them. The financial future of U-tube, is there one? Many apple news and rumors and some of the major technology news from all around.

I hope you'll enjoy this week's solo flight in the sauna.

tCast #44, second war time tCast. We have all the start brand names this show, Apple, Microsoft, Motorola, yahoo and many more. The who's and who's of the tech world.

The last part of the show is dedicated to the many rumors that are coming towards the WWDC next month. What will apple surprise us with?

This week it's Tal Rom and Boaz Ordan in the room and our new recruit, Netanel with the show-notes, I hope Adi will return to us soon.

Boaz.

MP3 File

Monday, July 17, 2006

tCast #43, tCast at war. When the guns are loud the rest of us become quiet, or at least not as loud as usual and so is the tCast.

This week it's Tal rom and me, Boaz Ordan around the mic talking tech news when most news are as far from tech as possible, but even so, the show must go on so we went through the interesting issues of the past week in the tech world.

We hope for a non war tCast next week.

MP3 File

Tuesday, July 11, 2006

tCast #42 took 2 weeks to arrive, to much to do and too little time for me to do it all. Thanks for all those who emailed me asking if I am well, yes I am, simply busy.

I am alone this week, none of the regular co-hostes could make it to my kitchen this week so it's back to the "solo" tCast, and it was fun going back to do it on my own.

The news this week are around the 2 new MacBook configurations, the new updates from Apple, the new security by Symantc and more.

Next week the full panel should be back, hope to see you all then.

Hello tCast Listeners.

tCast #25, a special 25th anniversary show with a special interview. This week the whole show is dedicated to an hour long interview with the CEO of YEDA computers, the official representative of Apple in Israel.

During this interview I tried asking all the questions that I thought are interesting to Mac owners in Israel, professional and home users alike. We talked about apple shop in Israel, iTunes music store in Israel, why are priced here high compared to the US and is it worth it, or not, to import Macs alone.

Please use my web site: http://www.tcast.co.il to subscribe to the enhanced tCast through iTunes, Yahoo, Odeo or other podcast services.

I hope you will find the interview interesting.

Boaz Ordan.
